Mary (Terri) Abbott

On the Feast of the Immaculate Conception December 8th, 1951 an angel was brought down from heaven for too short a visit. When the nuns placed the new baby girl in her mother's arms they said to her, "Well her first name is Mary, what will her middle name be?" The somewhat stunned mother responded, "Well my name is Theresa, how about Theresa?"

Mary Theresa Wolfe was born into a loving family and had the time of her life. And although she like to say that after she graduated high school there were only three options, become a mother, be a teacher, or be a nurse - she was all three and so much more.

It was incredible her ability to never miss a ballgame, a meeting or function, or the bedside of those in need. She will truly be missed by many, many family and friends. Too many to name, and no one to leave out.

She joins her beloved husband Buddy again and the start of another beautiful adventure.

Visitation will be 4-6 pm Friday at Harpeth Hills Funeral. Funeral Mass 11 am Saturday at St. Henry Catholic Church.
