Mattie "Mammaw" Dobbs was born in Caruthersville, Missouri on January 21st, 1928. She married the love of her life, Travis H. Dorrough, before becoming a mother to their son, Steve, and daughters, Brenda and Connie. Mattie thrived on caring for her six grandchildren, watching a good wrestling match on TV, starching a clean piece of laundry, frying extra crispy bacon, and sipping an iced sweet tea. Nothing brought her greater joy or showcased her devotion for her family more than fussing over the details, paper towel crumpled in her hand, hum behind her lips. She was loved and will be missed.

Preceded in death by her loving husband, Travis H. Dorrough, child, Brenda C. Miles. Survived by her children, Connie D. Steinmetz (Charles) & Steve T. Dorrough; grandchildren, Kimberly Bastin (Blake), Jonathan Miles (Erica), Joshua Dorrough, Kelsey Fulmer (Michael), Ashley Steinmetz & Travis Steinmetz; great-grandchildren, Samantha Bastin, Easton Bastin, Benjamin Miles & Ella Miles; sister, Cordie Spradling; many extended family members.
