Maureen E. Green

Maureen Green age 64, passed away on March 19, 2022.

Preceded in death by her parents, Bill Sampson and Betty Easton.

Survived by loving husband of 38 years, William “Paul” Green III, children, Nick Green, Lauren Green, and granddaughter Skye Hadden.

Maureen was a wonderful wife, a loving mother and delighted grandmother.  She was always a cat lover. She loved dogs, but cats were her other children. When Moe met Paul met, she told him “She and the cats were a package deal.” Maureen was a good Christian woman. She loved the Bellevue Church of Christ and was active in World Bible School. “Thank you, Jesus,” was a daily expression.

Flora, Illinois was the place always on her mind. She grew up there and much of her family still resides there. Maureen and Paul recently visited her 99-year-old aunt Jane in Flora, who passed recently.

There will be a Celebration of Life held in her memory at Bellevue Church of Christ Friday, March 25 at 11:00am. Visitation will be held at Harpeth Hills Funeral Home Friday, March 25 from 1:30 to 3:30 with a graveside service to follow.
