Melanie Thompson

Melanie Dawn Thompson, age 60, from Fairview, Tennessee passed away on April 11, 2023. Melanie was born in Nashville, Tennessee to the late William Alton Hutcherson and Wilma Joan Hutcherson. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her nephew, William Christopher Mayfield.

Survived by her loving daughters, Amber (Chris) Ryans and Megan Thompson, grandchildren, Carter and Audrey Ryans, sisters, Patrice (Steve) Potts and Valerie (Dennis) Nance, brother, Robert (Jennifer) Hutcherson and many loving nieces and nephews.

Melanie was a loving mother and grandmother. She enjoyed traveling to the beach and Gatlinburg mountains. Melanie was a faithful servant to the Lord and Meeting Place Church in Fairview, Tennessee community. She spent many days reading books, shopping, and creating memories with her friends, family but especially her grandchildren. She will be greatly missed by all those who know her.

There will be a visitation Saturday April 15, 2023 from 11:30am until the Celebration of Life 1:30 pm all held at Harpeth Hills Funeral Home 9090 Highway 100 Nashville, TN 37221.
