Melba H. Burroughs, age 90 of Nashville, TN went home to be with the Lord on August 24, 2014.

Melba was born in Nashville, TN on October 15, 1923.

She was preceded in death by her loving husband Thomas P. Burroughs; parents & one brother, Benny Higgins.

Survivors include her children, Carol Burroughs & Thomas P. (Paulette) Burroughs Jr.

The family will receive friends on Wednesday, August 27, 2014 from 9:30 am - 11:30 am at Belmont United Methodist Church, 2007 Acklen Avenue, Nashville, TN (615)383-0832 where a celebration of Melba's life will be conducted at 11:30 am.

Interment will follow in Harpeth Hills Memory Gardens.
