Melinda Gowin

Melinda Gale Gowin, age 65, from Kingston, Springs passed away on March 27, 2023 in Nashville, Tennessee. Melinda was born on March 5, 1958 to the late Robert and Priscilla Linder. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her brother, Jeff Linder and nephew, Shaun Long.

Survivors include her loving husband of 36 years, Dan Gowin, Jr. daughters, Amanda Duty (partner Troy Glover), April Threet, (husband Brian); grandchildren, Kelsey Dugan, Kyndall Threet, Landon Threet, Kynsley Duty; brother, Victor Linder; nephews, Colten Linder and Collen Linder; niece, Heather Linder and many loving aunts, uncles and cousins.

Melinda was a loving wife, mother, granny, and friend She enjoyed reading books, warm weather, and the beach. She worked at the local community bank as a teller for many years. She had a wonderful, kind and giving heart.

There will be a visitation Friday March 31, 2023 from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm and Saturday April 1, 2023 from 9:30 am until the Celebration of Life 11:30 am all held at Harpeth Hills Funeral Home 9090 Highway 100, Nashville, TN 37221.
