Melvin C. Ollis, age 86 of Fairview, TN went home to be with the Lord on Monday, December 12, 2016.

Melvin was born in Lee Co., AR on May 21, 1930, Son to the late Elmer & Nora Ollis.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Joyce Rock Ollis; son, Melvin Duane Ollis & 8 siblings.

Survivors include his son, Daniel Ollis; grandchildren, Alyssa & Trevor Ollis; siblings, Delois Davis, Wayne Ollis, Virginia Ollis & E.J. Ollis.

The family will receive friends on Thursday, December 15, 2016 from 4:00 pm - 8:00 pm at Harpeth Hills Funeral Home; where a Celebration of Melvin's life will be conducted on Friday, December 16, 2016 at 2:00 pm with an hour visitation prior to service.

Expressions of sympathy may take the form of donations to the American Cancer Association, in Loving memory of Melvin C. Ollis.
