Merle Herndon, age 75, of Scottsville, KY went to be with his heavenly father Monday, September 7, 2020. He was born February 23, 1945 in Graves County, KY to the late Harry and Rose Herndon.
Merle was an avid Kentucky Basketball fan who loved fishing and debating politics.
He is survived by his former wife, Linda Herndon; children, Patrick Herndon, Mark Herndon (Delaine), Dawn Griffin (Ray), Pamela Husak (Wally), and Rodney Pearson (Tracy); grandchildren, Savannah Rose Pearson, William Michael Patrick Herndon, Cody James Herndon, Jennifer Renea Hope Davenport, Nathan Tyler Herndon, Jessica Lynn Herndon, Kristina Herndon, Rebecca Pinkley, Olivia Kay Pearson, Samantha Cathey, Aundrea Herndon, Sarah Herndon, and Ricardo Herndon; great-grandchildren, Victoria Davenport, Jayden Herndon, and Davina Orostica.
The family will receive friends Friday from 5-8 p.m. and Saturday from 10 - 2 p.m. at Harpeth Hills Funeral Home. A celebration of life funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, September 12, 2020 at Harpeth Hills Funeral Home. Entombment will follow in the Garden of Last Supper of Harpeth Hills Memory Gardens.
