Michael Blaylock

Michael Angeles Blaylock age 86, of Primm Springs, TN passed away on May 14, 2021.  Michael was a loving husband of 65 years to Dimple A. Blaylock. He was dearly loved, admired and respected by all who knew him. He was kind and humble and left behind a legacy to his children and grandchildren to always do what was right, to work hard for what you needed and was always available to help by not only helping but by teaching. He will be dearly missed by us all.

Michael A. Blaylock began his career at Aladdin Industries in 1952, where he served many years in Research and Development as a Plastics Mold Engineer. During this time, he developed a talent for the injection mold profession and in retirement he began his own business, which led him to  become a successful designer and inventor.  Michael began his second retirement using his mechanical talents with a small engine repair shop where he served his customers with loyalty as he truly enjoyed his work.

Michael loved his family and was an excellent guardian and provider.  He and Dimple enjoyed life together as they loved each other with all their hearts. He was always busy in his working life but never lacked the time to be a wonderful Husband, Dad and Poppie. He loved gardening, working in his yard but most of all, spending time with family.

Michael was born in Davidson County, TN on May 20, 1934 to the late Benjamin and Margaret (DeMartini) Blaylock. He is also preceded in death by his brother, John Blaylock and sister, Dorothy Larkin.

He is survived by his brother Tim (Lynder) Blaylock and Sister Patricia Beasley; son, David (Shirley) Blaylock; Daughters, Rosa (Dale) Lewis, Tammy (Brian) Anderson; Grandchildren, Ben (Betsy) Blaylock, Keeli (Adam) Kelchner, Michael Blaylock, Summer Lehew, Rachel (Dusty) England, John (Katie) Anderson, Andrew Anderson; and 10 great grandchildren.

The Reverend Adam Kelchner will be officiating.
