Michael Keiran Elder March 15, 1942 to December 31, 2019

Preceded in death by daughter Christie Elder, parents Flaget and Beatrice Elder.

He is survived by wife,Sandra Elder, daughter Theresa Elder Mascolo, son, Michael Keiran Elder Jr., daughter-in-law, Heather Elder; 6 grandchildren, Jessica Rose, Marki Mascolo, Rocky Vanderpool, Michael Mascolo, Tate Mascolo, and Keiran Elder; 3 great grandchildren, Kenlee Neblett, Dawson Rose, and Stella Grey Rose; 3 sisters, Pat Scott, Mary Jo Abel, and Rita LeFeaux, many nieces and nephews.

He was a loving, devoted husband and father, a dutiful son and brother and a kind friend. He was an avid reader and lover of sports, especially LSU football.

Visitation will be 9:30-11:00 am Thursday, January 9, 2020, at St. Matthew Catholic Church . Funeral Mass to follow at 11:00 am
