Michael Howard Jones, passed away on December 24, 2023, in Kingston Springs, TN. Born on April 15, 1946, in England, Mike lived a remarkable life filled with dedication, accomplishment, and a deep love for his family and friends.

Preceded in death by his parents, Howard and Margaret Jones; son, Christopher Marshall Jones.

Mike is survived by his loving wife of 34 years Sandra Lee Jones; daughter, Margaret Marie Henderson; grandchildren, Cody Dalton Henderson, Zachary Adam Henderson; great grandson, Christoper Dean Henderson; granddaughter in law, Emily Hoover; sister, Susan Margaret Ellis (Jim Kelsey); mother-in-law, Ruth Ethel Skinner, and many cousins, loved ones, and friends.

Mike's career spanned over four decades at AT&T, where he retired after an impressive 45 years of service. He was an integral part of the company's growth. In fact, Mike's knowledge and expertise were so significant that he became one of the first two individuals to provide fiber-optics to Tennessee.

However, Mike was not defined solely by his professional accomplishments. He had a down-to-earth personality that endeared him to everyone who crossed his path. Known for his caring nature and sensitivity towards others, Mike was always there to lend a helping hand or offer comforting words during challenging times. His vast knowledge in various subjects made him an incredible source of information and an invaluable friend.

Outside of work, Mike's true joy lay in the great outdoors. He treasured every opportunity to immerse himself in nature's beauty. Whether it was hiking through scenic trails or simply spending time in his backyard, Mike found solace and happiness amidst the wonders of the natural world.

Additionally, he had a passion for woodworking and working with his hands. A skilled craftsman, Mike could transform raw materials into stunning creations through his meticulous craftsmanship. His talent extended beyond woodworking; he also loved tinkering with cars and enjoyed fixing things around the house. Mike's resourcefulness knew no bounds.

Mike loved animals, particularly his beloved dogs who were constant companions throughout his life. Their unwavering loyalty brought him joy.

Traveling held a special place in Mike's heart. He often embarked on adventures with his beloved wife Sandra Lee Jones. Together, they made memories to cherish forever.

Mike's education began with his graduation from White Haven High School in Memphis, TN. It was there that he laid the foundation for a lifetime of learning and personal growth. His thirst for knowledge never wavered, and he continued to expand his horizons throughout his life.

Not only was Mike dedicated to his work and hobbies, but he also proudly served in the National Guard, demonstrating his commitment to his country and fellow citizens.

To pay tribute to the remarkable life of Michael Howard Jones, a visitation will be held on Saturday, December 30, 2023 from 2:00pm to 4:00pm at Harpeth Hills Funeral Home 9090 Highway 100 Nashville, TN 37221

Although we may mourn the loss of a remarkable individual, let us take solace in the lasting impact Mike had on those who were fortunate enough to know him. He leaves behind a legacy of love, compassion, and generosity that will forever be etched in our hearts.
