Michael Hunt

Michael Lewis Hunt of Nashville, TN, passed away on May 17, 2022, at age 70. He is preceded in death by his Parents, Grover Hunt and Kathryn Hallmark of Tuscumbia, AL. He is survived by his wife of 49 years, Marsha Joyce (Pennington) Hunt, who he loved unconditionally, sons Michael Shane Hunt and Jason Andrew (Heather) Hunt, both of Nashville, Brother Lance (Margie) Hunt of Odem Texas, grandchildren Abby, Emma, and London Hunt, as well as numerous brothers and sisters-in-laws and nieces and nephews.

He was a long time active member of the Brentwood Church of Christ and a retired Vice President of J.E. Dunn Construction. He loved playing golf, traveling, and spending time with his grandchildren.

The family appreciates all the acts of love and kindness shown to them and Mike.

A celebration of life will be held on Thursday, May 19, 2022 at the Brentwood Church of Christ, 208 Granny White Pike, Brentwood TN. Visitation will be held at 5:30pm, with the Celebration of Life to follow at 6:30pm. Jim Stevenson and Michael Shane Hunt will officiate.
