Molly Miller Alspaugh, age 57, passed away Wednesday, March 6, 2024 at her home surrounded by her loving family in Hermitage, Tennessee. She was born on July 2, 1966 to Brad and June Miller of Murfreesboro, Tennessee. She graduated from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville in 1988 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Interior Design. She married her sweetheart, Eric Alspaugh and settled down in Mt. Juliet, Tennessee, and became an Interior Designer for Earl Swensson Associates, Inc. of Nashville, Tennessee, where she traveled extensively designing hospitals for them for 34 years, and received dozens of awards, certifications, and honors along the way.
During her spare-time, she and Eric loved to be on the water and visiting with their many friends. They became members of Cook’s United Methodist Church in Mt. Juliet, where she was involved in every area of ministry, including playing the piano for their praise band for many years and working with the youth group. In 2001, their lives were completed with the addition of their son, Ian Wise Alspaugh, who has been the love of their lives.
She loved people more than life and she and Eric kept up with friends from all over the country, as well as both of their families. She loved to make sure everyone was happy and taken care of, and wasn’t satisfied until SHE was satisfied that everyone was okay.

She is survived by her husband of 35 years, Eric Grover Alspaugh, their son Ian Wise Alspaugh, one brother, Ira Bradford Miller, Jr….Buddy (Ann) of Murfreesboro, one sister, Mary Lucinda Miller Smith…Cindy (Steve) of Brownsville, TN.
