Jean B. Weeks, 91 of Nashville, passed away on Friday, September 11, 2020 with her family beside her. As she would say, "She caught her Jesus Bus to Heaven".
She's preceded in death by her father, Stewart Bush; mother, Josephine Bush; brother, William Bush; brother, Robert Bush; son, James Weeks; and grandson, James Weeks, Jr.
She is survived by her sister, Sarah Smith (Charles); son, Carl Weeks (Connie); son, Steve Weeks; and daughter, Carolyn Bradford (David). Grandchildren Erin Weeks, Trey Weeks, Jessica Anthony (Chris), Kayla Browning (Dakota), Melissa Stephens (Trey) and Matthew Bradford. Seven great-grandchildren and countless friends she called family.
She was a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and a true friend to many. She was known as "Miss Jean". She never met a stranger and was kind and giving to all she met.
She worked for the State of Tennessee in the Department of Safety and Department of Revenue for a combined 34 years. After that, she returned to work part time at Beaman Automotive for 24 years.
She loved simple things, sitting in the sun "pooling it" in the backyard pool. Simple get togethers with family or friends whether a home cooked meal, cook out, or a favorite restaurant. Or simply talking with her friends and family on the phone just catching up on each other.
She was a kind and loving woman and will greatly missed by all of us.
