Nancy Chipman Strickland

Nancy Chipman Strickland age 79, passed away on October 9, 2022. She is preceded in death by her husband, Jerry Strickland; brother, John Chipman; mother, Madge Ashby.

Survived by daughter, Midge Taylor; son, Kent Taylor; grandchildren, Taylor Osborne, Jordan Osborne, Savannah Osborne; sister-in-law, Mary Chipman; nieces, Marcy Savage, Lucy Earhart; nephew, John Chipman, numerous nieces, nephews, and loved ones.

Nancy was a loving mother, grandmother, and aunt. She was an original member of Bellevue Church of Christ. Nancy was a people person and very involved in church. She loved her flower gardens and mastered growing violets. Her hobbies include sewing, cooking, studying the bible, and listening to music, especially Elvis. Most of all she loved spending time with her family. Nancy had a big heart and never forgot a birthday, event, or special occasion. She always remembered and loved to send cards to family and friends.

Visitation will be Sunday, October 16, 2022 1:00pm – 3:00pm with a Celebration of Life at 3:00. Both will be held at Bellevue Church of Christ 7401 Hwy 70 S Nashville TN 37221. A private graveside service will be held Monday in West Tennessee.
