Nancy A. Armstrong

Nancy A. Armstrong, age 91, of Bellevue, TN passed away on February 14, 2022.

She is preceded in death by parents James and Loubelle Asher, husband; Mac Armstrong, son; James Pitts.

Survived by longtime partner; Patrick Hartman, children; Edward (Hannah) Pitts, Steven Pitts, LouAnn Cunningham, Kevin (Kathy) Pitts, numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren and loved ones.

A lifelong resident of Bellevue TN, Nancy was a warm, gracious and generous woman.  She was a mother of five children who were the light and enjoyment of her life. She attended Peabody Demonstration School and later the University of Tennessee where she received her Bachelor’s in Nursing and a Master’s in Education. She served as an Emergency Room nurse for Nashville's indigent hospital - Metro General Hospital for many years. Her passion for kindness and justice impacted the lives of hundreds of people.
In her free time Nancy spent many hours enjoying the outdoors, horseback riding and making memories with her family. During retirement she became involved with in The Music City Dance Club. She loved her dance community and was so blessed to have made lifelong friends.

There will be visitation Friday, February 18, 2022 from 10:00am – 11:30am with a Celebration of Life at 11:30 all at Harpeth Hills Funeral Home.
