Naomi "Nana" Faye Richards Baker, 76, of Nashville was a strong, beautiful woman. She was charismatic, witty, and never failed to greet you with a warm smile and an even warmer hug. The only thing more beautiful than her smile was her heart. She never met anyone she wasn't willing to help and could always be counted on to lift your spirits with her unforgettable, infectious laughter. Naomi gained her angel wings in the evening of January 23, 2021. She left this Earth from her son's home surrounded by her loving family and was reunited in Heaven with her mother, Helen Richards; father, Edgar Richards, Sr; brother, Edgar Richards, Jr.; & loving husbands, Alan Hickerson & Jewell Baker. Naomi is survived by her two children, Tina Hickerson Logan (Bill) and Alan Matthew Hickerson (Jamie) who gave her one of her most prized gifts. The gift of being Grammy to four beautiful grandchildren: Christina Logan, Davey Hickerson, Erin Logan, and Adriana Hickerson; and 5 rambunctious great-grandsons: Tyler Furgason, Jesse Hickerson, William Logan, Jasen Hickerson, & Joey Hickerson.
Visitation for family and friends will be held at Harpeth Hills Memory Gardens on Thursday, January 28, 2021 from 4-8 and on Friday, January 29, 2021 from 11-12. Following Friday's visitation, the funeral service will begin at 12:00pm and will proceed to the graveside at 1:00pm for interment. Family will receive guests at Matthew and Jamie's home after the close of services.
