Ned Conwell Solomon of Nashville passed away at his residence on Wednesday, April 24, 2019; he was 91 years old.

Ned had retired from the U.S. Army and the Tennessee state government, and was a faithful member of Bellevue Church of Christ for 50 years.

He is preceded in death by parents, Emmett and Loreen Conwell Solomon; siblings, Gerald, Bill, James, and Sue; and grandson, Connor Finney.

Survivors include his wife of 70 years, Dorothy Allen Solomon; children, Nedra Solomon Finney (Doug), Franklin, TN, and Nanci Solomon, Knoxville, TN; grandchild, Joye-Clare Finney; great-grandchildren, Blake and Bentley Finney; brother- and sisters-in-law, Evelyn Solomon, Marlene Solomon, Joye and David Womack; many
beloved nieces and nephews, great-nieces and nephews, and great-great nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be Saturday, April 27, 11:00-1:00 with a Celebration of Life beginning at 1:00; all at the Bellevue Church of Christ, 7401 Hwy 70 S, Nashville, TN. Burial to follow at Harpeth Hills Memory Gardens.

In lieu of flowers, please make contributions to AGAPE (counseling and adoption agency), who gave him his precious grandchildren, or Meals on Wheels, which he delivered for many years in his retirement.
