Ollie Odell Holt Spray was born in a home on Del Rio Pike in Williamson County, TN on September 28, 1928 and parted this life on January 6, 2020. She is preceded in death by her husband, Howard Spray Sr, her parents Claude Lee and Ollie B Morgan Holt, her son and daughter in law, Herbert and Frances Spray, her siblings, Annie Mae Holt Pewitt, Ada Lee Holt Sullivan, Wiley Claude Holt Jr, William Edward Holt and her baby brother who was killed at Punchbowl Valley in Korea, Marine Corporal Kirby Howlett "James" Holt.

She is survived by her son, Howard and Barbara Spray, daughter Diana and George Mullen, Grandchildren: Kathy (Randy) Gaidos, Fern (JJ) Ferguson, Jennifer (Nate) Goodrich, Sacha Spray(Jerry Upchurch), Great Grandchildren, Nathan Gaidos, Nikki (Josh) Joslin, Ashton Crutchfield, Ethan Goodrich, Mackenzie Lewis, Collin Lewis, Great Great Grandchildren Isabella and Sophia Joslin and her precious Dachshund, Rusty.

As a young girl, Odell lived on a farm where she had pet chickens and a cow named Sophie. She had her first garden and flower bed at age 5. Her love for animals and flowers continued throughout her life. Her family moved to West Nashville in 1942. She met the love of her life, Howard Spray, in February 1947 after he returned from the South Pacific in WWII. He asked her to marry him on a beautiful day in April 1947. They eloped and were married in Franklin, KY on July 5, 1947. They raised their children and loved to spoil their grandchildren. She enjoyed many hobbies including attending Lions Club Meetings, bowling, quilting, gardening and listening to the old Country Music. She was baptized in the Harpeth River in her younger years and her faith was strong. Her love, Howard, passed away in 1989 and she has missed him dearly. She joined him in Heaven on January 6, 2020 to begin her eternal life.

The family would like to thank The Meadows Staff and Caris Hospice Nurses for loving and caring for her while in their care. The tenderness of the Meadows Staff to the family provided comfort during this difficult time in which we are so grateful.
