After several years of valiantly fighting brain injury and illness, Pamela Gayle Palmer peacefully transitioned home Wednesday, March 30, 2016. She was surrounded by loved ones and caregivers at Life Care Center of Centerville, TN. Preceded in death by father Virgil Bishop, mother and step father Hazel and Richard Fuller, sister Lisa Bishop. Survived by children Mike Palmer, Melissa Brown (Ryan), Grace Palmer, Amanda Heeren (Jake), granddaughter Emily Heeren; sister, Adrienne Green (Jimmy), brother Rodney Bishop (Karlene), and significant other Randy Beazley and his daughters Jade and Erin Beazley.

Pam cared deeply for friends, family, and all creatures alike. She would consider one of her greatest accomplishments her total devotion and evident love for her children. She was a lover of music, especially country, and played piano for several years. She was happiest when the sun was shining on her face, and spent much time enjoying sporting events and visiting her mother's farm. As we remember her gentle soul and kind heart, we know God's love and light flowed through her to touch the lives of many. Pam has now found peace and her warm spirit will remain in our hearts forever.

Visitation will be from 10 a.m.-12 p.m. on Tuesday, April 12, 2016 at Harpeth Hills Funeral Home. A Celebration of Life Service will be Tuesday at 12 p.m. at Harpeth Hills Funeral Home. The inurnment will follow at Harpeth Hills Memory Gardens. In lieu of flowers, please send donations in Pam's honor to the Brain Injury Association of Tennessee or Nashville Humane Association.

From the bottom of our hearts, we thank you for being a part of mom's life and ours.

Peace be with you,
Mike, Melissa, Grace, Amanda
