Mrs. Patricia ( Pat) Boaz Bland of Fairview, Tn , passed away February 23, 2025 at her home surrounded by her family and her loyal dog, Zoey.

Born to George (Gilbert) and Alice Ruth Boaz on August 25, 1947. Pat married the love of her life Harold Bland on August 5, 1968. Together Pat and Harold raised two children Kevin and Jamie. Mrs. Pat Bland loved her family like something fierce.

A dedicated Mother, Pat’s long-time Fairview home was a safe haven for not only her children, but many other family members as well as friends of her children or the neighborhood child needing advice, a hug, or a meal. Mrs. Blands snack drawer was the envy of every child who came into her home.

Pat was a true night owl, her door was usually open and her phone was often occupied until the wee hours of the morning. The late night talks were a steady source of comfort and humor to countless people, but mostly her children. She rarely missed telling Kevin and Jamie goodnight .

She was a lover of babies, dogs, Friday dinners with friends, Al Green music, fishing, pinto beans, and sunflower seeds. The center of many holiday as well as Sunday dinners, her lively story telling’s at her kitchen table.

Her kindness, easy laughter, genuine acceptance of others, and endless energy will be missed as “Mom”, “Nan”, and “Aunt Pat”.

She is preceded in death by her parents ,sister, and daughter -in-law.
