Patricia Anne Turner (Tripp) was born in Cincinnati, Ohio, on December 10, 1946, and passed away on December 3rd, 2024 in Kingston Springs, Tennessee.
Patricia is preceded in death by her parents, Marion Tripp and Anna Mae Kaufhold Tripp, and sister, Lora Koenig.
Patricia is survived by her loving husband of 42 years, Dale Turner; children, Julie (Thomas) Bangs, and Mark Turner; grandchildren, Jose Sousa and Cameron Nichols; sister, Pam (Ray) Kandil; brother-in-laws, Ken (Sandy) Koenig, and Larry (Eileen) Turner; nieces, Kari (Ray) Kaiser, and Kathryn (Nick) Haas; and nephew, Alex Turner.
Upon graduating from Norwood High School, Pat was a part of the creation of the Hamilton County Public Defenders office. She worked there until marrying Dale in 1982. Shortly thereafter, she, Dale, and Julie moved to Memphis where Mark was born. After years in Chicago and a return to Cincinnati, Pat and her family settled in Nashville.
Pat was a lifelong fan of the Cincinnati Reds and rarely missed watching a game. She enjoyed this way of staying connected to her hometown. She had pure fandom for the Happiest Place on Earth… Disney World! The perfect place for the sweetest lady and her joy for Disney only grew the older she became!
Her passion was needlework, and her cross-stitching skills won her state fair awards in Tennessee. She later stitched various designs that were published in many needlework magazines. Pat served 2 terms as President of the Nashville area Embroiders Guild of America.
Pat’s lifelong desire was always to have a home and care for her family. She loved her children and was devoted to her husband, Dale.
God bless the Alive Hospice team for the loving care they showed towards Pat during this past year. Not a sweeter woman ever walked this earth. She will be deeply missed.
