Patrick Kyle Pruitt was born on July 9, 1987 in Gulfport Mississippi to Larry Randall Pruitt and Teresa Kay Pruitt and welcomed by older brother Tyler. Patrick adores Tyler. They spent many days together shooting guns, camping, and one-upping each other on the latest in knives, books, or puzzle. On November 5, 2014 Patrick met Sarah Paige Conatser while eating dinner. Patrick and Sarah, were notables at that particular restaurant as the last ones to leave and being asked to do so! Within days of meeting Sarah, Patrick called his mother with a report of a "girl' name Sarah he had met and she may be "the one". Patrick was extremely intelligent and inquisitive. He mastered puzzles easily and you probably wouldn't beat him in chess. Patrick graduated from the University of Tennessee (Go Vols!), with a bachelor's degree in business and completed his Masters of Business Administration (MBA) at Middle Tennessee State University. He is a member Beta Theta Pi. He was employed by Community Health Systems in Brentwood TN.
Patrick and Sarah were married on October 15, 2016 and welcomed their cherished baby daughter Abigail into this world on December 20, 2018. In choosing names for their new arrival, Patrick and Sarah had discussed several. Sometime in October, Patrick came to me and said, "Sarah, her name is Abigail." You can choose her middle name but I know she is "Abigail." Sarah searched for the meaning of "Abigail" her name means, "Father's Joy". Abigail looks just like Patrick and is his pride and joy.
Patrick was deeply loving and a compassionate person. He loved his family and always referred to Sarah as "my beloved wife." He helped anyone at any time and new the local store clerks by name. He was extremely funny and his dry witted humor could easily be missed without a listening ear. Patrick didn't really know many nursery rhymes, but that was fine because while holding Abigail one day and he made one just for her "Little Abigail, with her little red pail, telling tall tall tales, to her favorite pet whale." Now you can imagine the many additional versions of this rhyme and the laughs we got from competing for the best new line! He also had several imaginative song to calm her on the fly. Abigail adored being a 7 foot airplane with her daddy smiling up at her. Now she'll be smiling up at him forever. The days ahead will be very difficult and Abigail and I. We appreciate the outpouring of love, prayers, hugs, tears, and support provided by our friends and family. We Love you so much Patrick, Sarah and Abigail.
He is survived by his loving wife, Sarah Paige Pruitt; adoring daughter, Abigail Mabel Pruitt; parents, Teresa Kay Pruitt and Larry Randall Pruitt; brother, Tyler Pruitt; several extended family members and friends.
