Patsy Gail Totty Pinckard
Patsy Gail Totty Pinckard, age 73, of Centerville, Tennessee, passed away Thursday, August 18, 2022, at Nashville, Tennessee. Patsy was born in Fordyce, Arkansas, on February 4, 1949, to the late Cecil B. and Theda Gage Totty. She was a 1967 graduate of Fordyce High School and a graduate of Arkansas A&M (now University of Arkansas at Monticello). She was a member of the Fairfield Baptist Church in Centerville. She began her teaching career at Thornton High School, Thornton, Arkansas. She was currently a teacher with the Hickman County School District. She was also a member of the Order of the Eastern Star. Patsy was an avid fan of the Arkansas Razorbacks.
Patsy was preceded in death by her husband Paul J. Pinckard, whom she married on May 14, 1971. She is also preceded in death by her brothers, Cecil G. Totty, Wayne Totty, and Gerald Totty.
She is survived by her son Jason Pinckard and his wife Jennifer of Franklin, Tennessee, her daughter Julia Gage Setzer of Centerville, Tennessee, and her stepdaughter Melissa Jacks and her husband Jeff of Vilonia, Arkansas. She was “Mimi” to her grandchildren Lauren Pinckard and Hope Pinckard of Franklin, Tennessee, Madison Setzer, Amaya Setzer, and Cooper Setzer of Centerville, Tennessee, and Trevor Jacks of Vilonia, Arkansas. Also surviving are her sisters Martha Park of Lonoke, Arkansas, Edith Totty of Fordyce, Arkansas, Marilyn Norman of Fordyce, Arkansas, Judy Launius and her husband Terry of Bearden, Arkansas, Sandra Wilson of Fordyce, Arkansas, and Debbie Ritchie and her husband Donnie of Searcy, Arkansas. Patsy is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews and a host of friends.
Visitation will be Monday, August 22, 2022, from 10:00am ~ 12:00pm with a Celebration of Life at 12:00pm at Fairfield Baptist Church 1863 TN-100, Centerville, TN 37033. The burial will immediately follow the service at Harpeth Hills Memory Gardens 9090 highway 100, Nashville, TN 37221.
