Paul Akers

Mr. Paul B. Akers age 90, of Nashville, TN. passed away on October 11, 2021 at Alive Hospice.

Paul was born in Banner, KY. on January 21, 1931 to the late Homer Akers and Josephine Hall Akers. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his sister; Patricia Ritchie also nephew; Jimmie, and niece; Joanne.

Survivors include his wife; Carol Hollands Akers, daughters; Karen Akers, and Melissa (Ira Lustman) Akers, David (JoAnna) Akers, sister; Sylvia (Charlie) Allen,  nephew; Paul (Mindy) Duggan, nieces; Rebecca Duggan, Kathy Duggan  and Janis Clark.  Grandchildren; Ryan Akers and Kayla (Trenton) Daughtery, great granddaughter; Finley Daughtery also step-son; Scott (Sherry) Hollands, step-grandchildren; Tellie Hollands, Greta Durham, Milam Durham, Maris Durham and Bryson Durham.

Visitation with the family will begin on Friday, October 15 from 2:00 pm until 6:00 pm at Harpeth Hills Funeral Home, 9090 Hwy 100, Nashville, TN. 37221. Burial will be held on Monday, October 18, 2021 at 10:00 am at Middle Tennessee State Veterans Cemetery, 7931 McCrory Lane, Nashville, TN. 37221.
