Paula Webb Farrar, age 62, of Burns, TN went to be with her heavenly father Tuesday, February 12, 2019. She was born October 5, 1956 in Ft. Worth, TX to Paul Webb and the late Adelia Waldo Webb.
Paula was a longtime member of Bellevue Baptist Church before moving her membership to Forest Hills Baptist Church. In her service to her church, she sang in the choir, played the piano and loved working with children. For 28 years she was a music editor at Lifeway in the children's music department. Recently, she was a design editor at Celebrating Grace Publishing where her co-workers loved being around her.
Paula was the joy of her family's life; she loved everyone, and everyone dearly loved her. She had an infectious laugh, and her family remembers her as a proper and gracious lady who loved to have fun and was very funny. Paula was very intelligent and well spoken, always learning and improving herself. She loved gardening, running/walking (including an occasional ½ marathon with her daughters) and she loved her yard with its beautiful flowers. Paula enjoyed mowing her grass and also playing a good round of golf.
Paula was a wonderful engaged and ever-present mother. She was always involved in her daughters' activities and was their biggest fan and advocate. Paula shared her love for her family and friends openly and without judgement. She was extremely supportive of her family and their passions, often learning something new so she could be present in their passions. She had a strong bond with her dad and often said, "I am my father's daughter". Above all, Paula loved the Lord and shared her faith openly. She is safely in the arms of Jesus.
Paula is survived by her husband, Bob Farrar; daughter, Shea Sims; daughter and son-in-law, Lauren and Andrew Robinson; father and step-mother, Paul and Fran Webb; brother, Thomas Webb; and a host of extended family, friends and co-workers.
The family will receive friends from 12 am - 2 pm at Bellevue Baptist Church. A life celebration service will be held at 2 pm with pastor Mike Shelton Officiating. Interment will follow in the garden of Peace in Harpeth Hills Memorial Gardens.
