Peggie Woodside Moore was born on June 27, 1931 and passed away at St. Thomas Hospital on January 27, 2017. She was the daughter of Beulah and Joe Woodside. She was married to the late Hershel H. Moore.

Peggie graduated from North High School. She married Hershel Moore on December 17, 1949. She was the merchandise manager for Castner Knott for 30 years. She was a member of the Cathedral of the Incarnation Catholic Church.

She is survived by her two sons, Joseph "Marty" Moore (Camillia Moore) and Jeffrey "Scott" Moore (Susan Moore); granddaughter, Nicole Alexis Moore; sisters, Betty Kelley (the late Pete Kelley) and Susan Noe (Billy Noe); nieces, Jennifer Noe Hurt (Tim Hurt) and Jonquil Kelley; great-niece, Hannah Hurt; goddaughter, Melanie Fly Loudermilk.

Visitation will be 4-8 p.m. on Tuesday, January 31, 2017 at Harpeth Hills Funeral Home, 9090 Hwy 100, Nashville. A Funeral Mass will at 10 a.m. on Wednesday, February 1, 2017 at the Cathedral of the Incarnation Catholic Church, 2100 West End Ave. Nashville. Interment will follow at Middle TN State Veteran Cemetery, McCrory LN, Nashville.
