Peggy Jane Fisher, passed away peacefully on July 31, 2023, in Nashville, Tennessee. Preceded in death by her parents Clayton Estes and Zora Tucker; brother Joe (Joan) Estes; sisters Glenda (Dwight) Morisch and Carolyn (Raymond) Pickler.
Peggy Jane Fisher's memory will forever be cherished by her surviving family and friends. She is survived by her loving husband of 67 years, H. Wayne Fisher; son, Herschel (Terri) Fisher; daughter, Brenda Branch. Her grandchildren Scott (April) Fisher, Elizabeth (Jacob) Guinn, Grant Fisher, Olivia (Shaun) Paul, Stephen (Jessica) Branch, Nicholas (Cory) Branch; great-grandchildren Daniel, Lydia, Hannah, Elliott, Rylee, Chandli, and Cameron; siblings Claudia (Stephen) Hall, Sherri (Bob) Spencer as well as sisters-in-laws, Gay Hooker and Betty (Jack) Hughes. Numerous nieces, nephews, extended family members as well as dear friends equally mourn her loss.
Peggy was a devoted family woman who adored her husband, H. Wayne Fisher, and their children. She cherished the moments spent with them. Aside from her family, Peggy had a strong faith in God and found solace in going to church regularly. She had a deep connection with her church friends who provided love and support throughout her life. Reading the bible brought immense peace to Peggy's soul as she found guidance and strength within its pages.
Peggy possessed various interests that filled her life with joy. One of her hobbies included collecting thimbles; each one held a unique story that she treasured dearly. Additionally, she enjoyed making memories with loved ones and capturing those precious moments through photography. Peggy had an eye for beauty which is reflected in the numerous pictures she took over the years.
A woman of elegance and grace, Peggy loved dressing up for special occasions. Her impeccable style was admired by all who knew her. Whether it was a family gathering or an outing with friends, she always looked her best and radiated charm.
Friends and family are invited to attend the visitation services being held at CRBC Nashville located at 7511 Charlotte Pike in Nashville, Tennessee on August 2, 2023 from 4:00pm ~ 7:00pm. The second visitation will be held on August 3, 2023 from 10:00am ~ 11:00am with a Celebration of Life starting at 11:00am. Peggy's final resting place will be at Harpeth Hills Memory Garden, Funeral Home & Cremation Center located at 9090 TN-100, Nashville, Tennessee.
Peggy Jane Fisher was a remarkable woman whose love for family and dedication to her work touched the lives of many. Her kind heart, unwavering faith in God, and zest for life were inspiring qualities that will never be forgotten. May she rest in peace while the memories of her vibrant spirit live on in the hearts of those who loved her.
