Peggy Jean Matthews- Age 66, Born October 13, 1947 and passed away on April 24, 2014. Preceded in death by her husband, Donald "Don" Ray Matthews; mother, Sudie Mae Turner Fields; sister, Patricia Mae Miller. Survived by her children, Donna Jean Matthews Arsenault, Melinda Gail Matthews Miner and Donald "Ray" Matthews, Jr.; grandchildren, Ian Arsenault, Aaron Arsenault, Ryan Arsenault (Hailey Wallace Arsenault), Mary Alison Arsenault, David Miner, Hannah Miner-Brown (Thomas Brown) and Leslie Miner; great-grandchildren, Landon Jayce Brown and Jacob Lee Taylor; sister, Carolyn Miller Fields; step-father, James B. Fields; step-sisters, Carolyn Heath, Lois Ann Fields Hines and Lena Gail Fields Padrick; many nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews and great, great nieces and nephews; numerous cousins. She retired from Marshall and Bruce Printing Company. She loved music, dancing and bowling. A life celebration service will be at 11:30 am on Monday, April 28, 2014 at Harpeth Hills Funeral Home with Matt Harris officiating. Interment to follow at Harpeth Hills Memory Gardens. Pallbearers will be Ian Arsenault, Aaron Arsenault, Ryan Arsenault, David Miner, Thomas Brown and Thomas Bausman. Honorary Pallbearers will be Dr. Michael Hemphill and staff at TN Oncology at Summit Hospital and Emily Fitzpatrick and staff at Alive Hospice.
