Age 64, passed away on May 22, 2018.
Peter Richard D'Andrea was an award winning, highly respected culinarian of 40 years with accomplishments that he never bragged about. He spent his time mentoring young chefs and living his life by the word of God. He had unshakable morals, was perpetually and annoyingly optimistic, and he only spoke badly about poorly prepared food. His professional legacy is impossible to impress upon, and yet he would say that he was the most proud of the impact he's made on his family. He was happiest surrounded by his family, rarely talking, but always somehow managing to find exactly the right thing to say. He will be forever missed by his wife of 39 years, his two girls, and his family and friends.
Preceded in death by his parents, Grace and Fabrizio Joseph D'Andrea.
Survived by his wife of 39 years, Jo Ann D'Andrea; daughters, Mariel (Brandon) Zelhart and Grace D'Andrea; siblings, Margherita Spears, Joseph D'Andrea, Paula O'Loughlin (Peter's twin sister) and Evelyn D'Andrea
Visitation will be 9:30am-11:00am, Friday, June 1st at St. Matthew Catholic Church with a Funeral Mass at 11:00am. Immediately following Mass a luncheon will be held at the church.
