Peyton Harrison - June 25, 2021 to December 27, 2023
NASHVILLE, TN - It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Peyton Harrison on December 27, 2023, in Nashville, TN. Born on June 25, 2021, Peyton was a sweet soul who touched the lives of many during his short time with us. His bright spirit and infectious smile will be dearly missed by all who knew him.
Preceded in death by his uncle, James Michael Thomas and aunt, Shelby Harrison.
Survived by his parents, John Harrison, and Honesty Odle; brother, Kason Harrison; grandparents, Samantha Hamilton (Jeremy Horton), Cindy Horton; bonus grandparents, Kathy and Terry Johnson, Teresa Crow Peden; aunts and uncles, Sarah, Searra, Jordan, Daniel and Sean; great grandparents, Terrie and Charles Knolls, Tim and Kim Horton, Danny Hand and Angela Stansberry as well as a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, and Peyton fans.
Peyton was a remarkable soul who loved life and embraced it with joy. He loved his bink bink and cherished his collection of cozy blankets. He was also known for the best fist bumps around and had many Peyton fans.
Music held a special place in Peyton's heart and Superheroes knew no bounds as he admired Captain America, Spider-Man, and Batman.
Peyton also loved football, The New England Patriots -and the Tennessee Vols. Not only did he inherit this love from his dad, but he also cheered alongside his Nonnie for her team, Alabama's "Roll Tide!"
Peyton's resilience and determination were evident in his unwavering spirit. He faced challenges head-on, earning respect from all who witnessed his strength. His bravery served as an inspiration to everyone around him.
Peyton brought joy to his parents Honesty Odle and John Harrison. Their unconditional love and support surrounded him throughout his journey. They shared many precious moments together and created cherished memories that will forever be treasured.
A visitation to honor Peyton's life will be held on Tuesday, January 2, 2024 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM and Wednesday, from 11:30 AM to 12:15 PM with a Graveside Service at 12:30 PM all at Harpeth Hills Funeral Home.
Peyton departure leaves behind a void that cannot be filled. However, his memory will forever live on in our hearts. In loving memory of Peyton Harrison - he was taken from us too soon, but his legacy will continue to inspire us all. “Peyton Strong”
The family wishes to express their deepest gratitude to the Centennial Women's and Children's Hospital for their compassionate care and dedication. The oncology department played a huge role in Peyton's journey, providing not only medical expertise but also an abundance of warmth and comfort during challenging times. The family is thankful for the kindness and empathy shown by the hospital staff.
