Philip V. Trauernicht, age 59, passed away Saturday, November 14, 2015 surrounded by his loving family.
He was born January 30, 1956 in Nashville to Paul and Dorothy (Petre) Trauernicht.
He was a graduate of Father Ryan High School and Middle Tennessee State University.
He worked as a senior advisor for the Grants and Loans Division for the Tennessee Department of Economic and Community Development.
He is survived by brothers Allen (Janet), Steve, and Mark Trauernicht; sisters Karen (Ronny) Sadler and Norma (Steve) Volz; seven nieces and nephews; four great nieces and nephews; and ex-wife Leanne Cox.
Funeral Mass will be held on Monday, November 23, 2015 at 11 am with visitation an hour before at St. Henry Catholic Church.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to American Heart Association or Multiple Sclerosis Society.
