Phyllis resided in Michigan, Illinois, Connecticut, New Hampshire, Florida and Tennessee, but Michigan was always home.
She traveled the world with her husband and made friends wherever God placed her. She loved her Savior Jesus Christ, her family and friends, her kitty cat Summer Breeze, cooking, crafting, tennis, golf, music (especially Hymns and Big Band) and Michigan football...Go Wolverines!!
She had the mind of Christ and the heart of a servant. She served faithfully in her church, P.E.O., Meals on Wheels, the local hospital, ministered to children with disabilities, tutored elementary students in reading, was a Girl Scout Leader, a Cub Scout Den Mother, a Sunday School Teacher, and leaves a legacy to her family and friends on how to love and serve others well.
She will be greatly missed by her family, friends and all that knew her, but never forgotten.
We grieve her passing with the hope of heaven (1 Thessalonians 4:13-18) and look forward to seeing her again.
