Rebekah Ann Johnson Hutto, born April 14, 1942, was a caring wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend. She died peacefully in her home surrounded by family on Friday, December 11, 2020. She is preceded in death by her parents Richard Johnson and Frances Johnson and her husband Thomas Hutto. She is survived by her brother Richard Johnson Jr. (Diane), her daughter Lisa Hutto Sheridan (Mark), her son Jared Hutto (Auda), and her 7 grandchildren, Taylor Sheridan, Anna Sheridan, Kirby Sheridan, Isabella Hutto, Samuel Hutto, William Sheridan, and Jack Sheridan. She is also survived by her two beloved cats, Boo and Scooter, who comforted her to the end. Rebekah graduated from Brenau College in Gainesville Georgia in 1964 and was an active member of the Alpha Chi Omega sorority. She resided in her home in Franklin, Tennessee for the past 43 years. She was quick-witted and enjoyed a love for reading, cooking, gardening and playing bridge with her friends. She was a dear friend to many, always kind and thoughtful. Becky loved her children and grandchildren dearly and was involved in all of their lives. She loved helping others. Becky will be greatly missed by all who had the privilege to know and love her. A funeral Mass will be held at St. Matthew Catholic Church at noon on Saturday, December 19th. Due to current circumstances it will be available livestream for those who are unable to attend. Our family is so grateful for all the love and support of family and friends and also for the loving care of Guardian Hospice in Franklin, Tennessee.
