Reggie Grimes Young, Jr. of Franklin, Tennessee, died at his residence on Thursday, January 17, 2019; he was 82 years old.
Reggie Young was considered to be the most recorded guitar player in the world.
Mr. Young, preceded in death by his parents Reggie Grimes Young, Sr. and Thelma Mayes Young, is survived by his wife of 15 years, Jenny Young; son, Reggie Young III (Debbie); daughter, Cindy Evans; grandchildren, Michael Young, Tabitha (Brian) McAleesejergins, Christopher Young, Allison (Britt) McCord, and Tripp Evans; great grandchildren Sophie McAleesejergins and Weston McCord; sister Alice Wheatley; and fur baby J.R. (the cat).
Visitation will be Monday, January 21, 1:00 - 2:00 pm, with a Celebration of Life beginning at 2:00 pm at the Franklin First United Methodist Church, 120 Aldersgate Way, Franklin, TN 37069.
