Richard Clyde Lee Caldwell passed away at the age of 67 on Thursday January 21, 2021. Born in Phoenix AZ., Richard leaves behind his wife of 47 years, Kimberly Caldwell, 2 sons, Richard Caldwell II , Joshua Caldwell, and 3 grandchildren, Kaitlyn Caldwell, Amberley Caldwell and Joshua Caldwell II. He also leaves behind brothers John F.W. Caldwell and James V. Caldwell, 2 nieces, a nephew, 4 great nieces, 2 great nephews.
Proceeded in death by his mother Betty Lou Caldwell and father John D. Caldwell. Richard proudly & honorably served his country in the U.S. Army 82nd Airborne / 75th Ranger from 1970 thru 1973.
Richard was an entrepreneur who loved his work and travel. His love of travel, internationally and domestic led him to being connoisseur of foods. Being an avid fisherman and hunter, some of his most proud memories were taking his boys on hunting trips with him. With his outgoing personality and love of people, Richard made friends easily & frequently. With never a loss of words, he loved telling life stories to his friends and family. He also enjoyed a good conversation of history and his military experiences. His greatest love was the love of his family whom he held close to his heart. The time he spent with his family and loved ones created memories that will be cherished forever. Richard was a good and loving man and will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
