Rita M. Rodgers age 92, passed away on March 17,2021. Preceded in death by husband, Fred Rodgers; sister, Jessie Oakley of Burns TN; brothers, Winford Mangrum, of Fayetteville, TN, Jeral Mangrum. Survived by daughter, Toni Rodgers of Nashville TN; brother, LD (Jo) Mangrum.
Rita was a member of Bellevue Church of Christ for many years. Very near and dear to her heart was her Friendship Group also, she enjoyed cooking, sewing, and traveling. Rita loved everything to do with Christmas including wrapping presents and decoration.
Visitation with family and friends will be Friday March 19, 4:00 – 6:30 and Saturday March 20, 11:00 -12:00 with a celebration of life at 12:00 at Harpeth Hills Funeral Home, 9090 Highway 100, Nashville TN 37221. Burial will be Sunday March 21, 1:00 at Woodlawn-Roesch-Patton Funeral Home, 600 Thompson Lane, Nashville, TN 37204.
