Robbie Burress

Robbie Garner Burress, age 86, of Franklin, Tennessee passed away peacefully on January 24, 2025. She was born on July 4, 1938 to the late Riley and Ruby Garner in Garnertown Community of Henderson county, Tennessee. Robbie was a member of Bellevue Baptist church in Nashville, Tennessee. 

Robbie is preceded in death by her parents listed above, her husband Johnny F. Burress, sister Marie Gordon, and brother in law Joel Gordon. 

Robbie is survived by her son Keith Burress (Robbye), sister Ruth Day (Ed), and grandchildren Brian Burress (Olivia), and Beth Smith (Jonathan). She also leaves behind her great-grandchildren Porter, Griffin, and Tate Smith, and Carter, Emery, and Blaire Burress.

A funeral service will be held at Chapel Hill Baptist Church in Lexington, Tennessee on Monday, January 27, 2025 at 12:00 noon in the chapel. A visitation will follow the service after the interment at Chapel Hill Church Cemetery located at 4850 Highway 200 Lexington, Tennessee.
