Robert Elam Cartwright, Sr. Age 81 went home to be with the Lord on March 8, 2016. He is survived by his wife of 61 years, Lois Winfrey Cartwright; daughters, Susan (Danny) Thompson and Phyllis (Hugh) Coleman; son, Robert E. Cartwright, Jr.; grandchildren, Jeremy Coleman, Kevin (Amesha) Thompson, Laura (Caleb) Thurman; 4 great-grandchildren, Ian, Bonnie, Cohen and Ellie; sisters, Loretta Peacock, Annie Ruth Tucker and Marie Taylor.
He was a member of Antioch First Baptist Church for 43 years.
A funeral service will be held on Friday, March 11, 2016 at 2pm. Interment will follow in Harpeth Hills Memory Gardens. Visitation will be Friday, March 11, 2016 from 10am until time of service. Service and visitation will be held at HARPETH HILLS FUNERAL HOME 9090 Hwy 100 Nashville, TN 615-646-9292
