He loved baseball and golf, and was active in his community, giving his time and talents to youth sports programs. He served his country honorably during WWII in occupied Japan in the United States Army.
Left to cherish his memory are his wife of 59 years, Edna Louise Kucker; his three children, Robert George Kucker, Jr. (Karline), Brenda Kucker Oslin (Bryan), and Barbara Kucker Smart (Eric); and seven grandchildren, Brian Smart, Kristen Oslin Pepper (Will), Samuel Smart (Miriam), Bryan J. Oslin, Devon Kucker, Keirsten Kucker and Brady Kucker; and one great-grand daughter Athena-Ashlynn Rose Simpson, nieces and extended family and friends. Robert was preceded in death by his parents and his older brother, Walter S. Kucker, Jr. (Dolores).
