Rob McArthur went home to be with the Lord on May 9th, 2020. He was born in Knoxville and then moved to Brentwood to be closer to family. Rob grew up attending Brentwood Baptist church where he was baptized and enjoyed various youth activities. In his early school years, Rob attended Franklin Road Academy where he made lifelong memories and friends. He finished his schooling as a proud graduate from Montgomery Bell Academy in 2011. Rob was successful in management positions at hotels in Florida, LA Fitness in California, and enjoyed a successful time at his family's real estate company.

From an early age, Rob loved a good prank and a hard laugh. Rob loved fishing, UT football, snorkeling and scuba diving, hiking and exploring the outdoors, working out, and most of all family and dear friends. He enjoyed living on both coasts for periods of time, but Rob loved nothing more than to be home with family and friends in Nashville Tennessee. Although Rob's time on earth was shorter than we all hoped, he lived a rich life collecting numerous friends and impacting others along his journey.

Until we are together again, We love you more than all the stars in the sky!

Rob was preceded in death by grandfathers Van T. Irwin Jr. and Tom E. McArthur Sr. Rob is survived by parents Tommy and Vicki McArthur, sister Libby McArthur Warren (Adam), grandmothers JoAnn Irwin and Dianne McArthur, grandparents Brent and Mamie Sanders, and many wonderful and loving aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Rob's family would like to thank the countless friends and mentors that supported and positively impacted Rob over the years. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Cumberland Heights - Still Waters Scholarship Fund, P.O. Box 90727, Nashville, TN 37209.

There will be a family graveside service May 20, 2020 at 3 p.m. at Harpeth Hills Funeral Home. Friends and family wishing to attend the graveside service are welcome with proper distancing. A celebration of life gathering will be planned for July 3, 2020.
