Robert "Rob" Giermek Jr.

Rob Giermek passed unexpectedly Monday, February 21, 2022 at the age of 45. Rob is survived by his father Robert R. Giermek (Bob) and preceded in death by his mother Barbara. Rob was a cherished Son, Brother, Uncle, work Colleague and Friend to many.

Rob, a self-taught technology expert, started his career at Vanderbilt University then quickly became a serial Entrepreneur. He played a leading role as a technology leader during the late 90’s during the Dot Com Boom with companies such as eConception, Acymtech, and Logic Media Group where he served as the Director of Infrastructure Services for over 10 years.  In 2012, Giermek co-founded Harpeth Industries, a leading manufacturer of kiosk technology that was acquired by VendEngine, Inc in 2018. Where he served as the Chief Technology Officer of VendEngine until his passing.

If Rob was not putting out fires at work, you would find him chasing fish or helping a friend in need.

The services for Rob Giermek will be held on Tuesday, March 1.

Visitation Hours will be from 12:30 – 2:30 PM with a memorial service starting at 2:30.
