Ronald Howard

Ron Howard of Fairview, Tennessee passed away on March 4, 2024, at the age of 86. He was born on January 15, 1938, to Leslie and Ina Howard in Littleton, Massachusetts. He grew up in Groton, Connecticut.

He enjoyed sitting on his back deck watching birds while listening to George Straight. Ron was a Christian and he loved to golf, go fishing, mowing, taking care of his flowers, and especially getting together for Mexican train family night.

He proudly served in the United States Navy from 1955 to 1958. After the service, Ron retired from TRW, working with them for twenty-five years. He then worked in sales until he started his own business selling printing materials. In 2008, he retired and moved to Fairview, Tennessee.

Ron is preceded in death by his parents listed above, and brothers, Leslie Howard, Dick Howard, and Tom Howard.

He leaves behind to cherish his memory, his wife of twenty-eight years, Kathleen Howard. Ron is also survived by his children, Rennette Lewis, David Howard, Spencer Howard, Shannon Howard; grandchildren, Jason Hughes, Mathew Lewis, and Erin King; great-grandchildren, Jeffrey Morton, Savannah Lewis, Cierra Lewis, Madison Lewis; great-great granddaughter, Sylvia Morton; and brother, Art Howard.
