Ronald Lee Marshall, age 69, of Mt. Juliet, TN went to be with his heavenly father after a long battle with cancer October 4, 2020. He was born October 22, 1950 in Nashville, TN to the late Ray Marshall and Maybelle Wall.

Ronald is survived by his partner in life, Joyce Dunlap; daughter, Crystal Wade; sister, Linda Nodine; brother, Tony Marshall (Candy); and a host of nieces, nephews and friends.

Ronald was very personable and never met a stranger. He was always ready with a story to share or a simple smile. In Ronald's healthier years, he enjoyed spending time outdoors hunting and fishing. Several of his trophies were donated to Tennessee Wildlife Resources Agency and today are still on display across the State of Tennessee. He was retired from Nashville Metro Transit Authority where he was a bus driver. In 2006 he received a donor kidney that extended his life 14 additional years. He always held precious that amazing gift of life.

The family would like to extend a special thank you to the following angels: Avalon Hospice of Lebanon, nurses and staff who gave excellent care to Ronald during his time with them; Dr. Stanley Lee and staff, Dr. Craig Rutland and staff; Dr. Jo David Fine, Dr. Barbara Murphy and Dr. Mary Alicia Hooks and staff with Vanderbilt Dermatology and Oncology, and Dr. James Peyton and staff with Tennessee Oncology.
