Ronald Neil Nash
07/19/1976-02/19/2024
Ronald Neil Nash “Neil” of Nashville, TN, passed away on February 19, 2024, at the age of 47 years. He was born on July 19, 1976, to Ronald Huggins and Patricia Nash-Rickard.
Neil was of the Christian faith with no particular denomination.
Neil graduated from Lebanon High School in June, 1995. He then graduated with honors from ITT Technical Institute with an Associate’s Degree of Applied Science in Electronic Engineering Technology in December, 2002.
He is preceded in death by his grandfathers, Alton Crane and Roy Nash.
He leaves behind to cherish his memory his wife, Angela Wood, married for three years; his oldest son, Alexander “Xander” Nash; his youngest son, Roland Nash; his oldest step-daughter, Caitlin Teaster (husband Kenneth); his youngest step-daughter, Adrianna Melton (partner: William Adams); his mother, Patricia Nash-Rickard (husband Charles “Doc”); his biological father, Ronald Huggins (wife: Sunny); his brother, Jeremiah Kelley (wife: Christy); his two granddaughters, Kaylinn Aliya Smith; his grandmother, Ruby Nash; his mother-in-law, Cinda Stiles; and several aunts, uncles, cousins, and other family members and loved ones.
Neil was a devoted son. He loved his parents, and he was raised with a strong work ethic, a need to care for others, and a love of service to everyone he could possibly help. He was extremely intelligent, and this was fostered by those who raised him. He was more of an introverted soul, but he was always looking for the next project or challenge that lay ahead. He loved to share his knowledge with others.
Neil enjoyed being at home with his family. He loved playing games with his sons and granddaughters, watching movies and shows with them, cooking together with his family, walking, swimming, watching music videos, and listening to music. When the boys were younger, he often played nerf wars with them and worked on various building sets with them. He built flower gardens with his granddaughters. He loved being around his family.
Neil was wonderful with electronics, computers, music, stereos, surround sounds, vehicles, and his seawater aquarium. He was frequently working on his step-daughters’ vehicles, always concerned that they were safe on the roads. He helped neighbors and friends whenever he could. He showed his love to others with his service to them. That was what he knew.
Neil was a loving husband. He and Angela met at 13 years old, and it was love at first sight. They did separate for a time, and he was able to take his love and turn it into his two brave and handsome sons. Neil and Angela met again five years ago, and they married on December 6, 2020. Neil loved Angela with all his heart, and she loves him with all of hers.
