Rosalind Dowd Vanderpool- Age 80, Passed away peacefully on October 21, 2015. Preceded in death by her husband, Fed H. Vanderpool; parents, Stephen and Leonora Dowd; sister, Martha Dowd Morris. She is survived by her daughters, Vicki Vanderpool (Freddie Johnson) and Jami V. Neely (Paul); grandchildren, Cris Cooper, Cameron, Austin and Paige Neely; nieces, Pamela Wilkerson, Lori Hall; she is also survived by many other loving family and friends.
She was a wonderful mother and grandmother and will be greatly missed by all her family. She was such a beautiful person and touched so many people with her kind smile and beautiful soul.
The family would like to say a special thank you to all of her doctors, nurses and caregivers.
Visitation will be on Friday, October 23, 2015 from 4-8 p.m. and Saturday, 12-2 p.m. at Harpeth Hills Funeral Home, 9090 Hwy 100, Nashville. A Celebration of Life Service will be on Saturday, 2 p.m. at Harpeth Hills Funeral Home with Denny Shepard officiating. Interment will follow at Harpeth Hills Memory Gardens. Pallbearers will be Mike Scates, Alex Ross, Mike Wilkerson, Mike McNeese, Steve Wade and Mike Hall.
