MARRISON, Ruby Dean Glenn-, Nashville, November 17, 2012. Born on April 23, 1928 in Iuka, MS. The daughter of the late Alfred D. and Eva Morton Glenn. Ruby moved to Jackson, TN when she was 20 years old and lived there until 1964. At this time she married James W. Marrison, now deceased, and moved to Nashville. They were married for 46 years. Ruby was preceded in death by two brothers, Billy Glenn and Ralph Glenn and a sister, Shirley Thomas. She leaves behind a sister, Kathryn Dailey, and a brother, Earl Glenn. Ruby retired from South Central Bell Telephone Company in 1987. She was a member of Bellevue Baptist Church and the Paul Webb Sunday School Class. Ruby loved studying God's word and loved her church and family. She was especially loved by her nieces and nephews and will be missed by her family and friends. The funeral service will be at 11am on Wednesday, November 21, 2012 at Bellevue Baptist Church, 7400 Hwy 70 S. Interment will follow at Harpeth Hills Memory Gardens. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Bellevue Baptist Church Building Fund. Visitation, Tuesday, 5-7pm at Harpeth Hills Funeral Home and Wednesday, one hour prior to the service at the church.
