Ruth Gill Womack, age 98, passed away on November 1, 2015.

She was born in Grant, TN on December 15, 1916.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Jerre K. Womack and eight of her brothers and sisters.

She is survived by her daughters, Annette Stewart and her husband, Joseph of Orlando, Gloria Bond and her husband, David of Nashville; grandchildren, Peter Partlow and his wife Teri, Paul Partlow and his wife, Dawn, Glen Partlow and his wife Shannon, Gloriane Hargrave and her husband, Darryl and Becky Bond; nine great-grandchildren; sisters, Rosemarie Miller of Nashville and Faye Williams of Lebanon.

Ruth was a dedicated gardener who loved her roses, a wonderful cook, a talented seamstress and she always looked forward to her bridge games with her family and friends.

The family is grateful to the wonderful women who provided her with companionship and care over the recent years, especially Hester Dunlap and Willie Williams.
Ruth was a member of the Golden Rule Sunday School Class at Woodmont Baptist Church where a Memorial Service to celebrate her life is scheduled for Saturday, November 7, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. Visitation will begin one hour before her service.
