Ruthanne "DeeDee" Johnson, age 96, went to be with her heavenly father, Wednesday, February 13, 2019 surrounded by her family. She was born March 2, 1922 in Rhinelander, WI to the late Louis and Emma Petey. She is also preceded in death by her husband of 50 years, Charles C. Johnson and sisters, Athlyn Petey and Grayce Montgomery.

DeeDee was born, raised and married in Rhinelander, WI. She attended the Rosary Collage and moved to the Nashville area late in life.

DeeDee is survived by her son, Steve Johnson (Lois); daughter, Cindy Formosa (Tom Bogan); daughter, Julie Harrell (Buzz); grandchildren, David Formosa, Mark Formosa, Lindsey Harrell and Andrew Harrell; great grandchildren, Bella Formosa, Lilli Formosa and Fisher Harrell.

Graveside services for DeeDee will be held at a later date in Rhinelander, Wisconson.
