Samuel B. Warden, Jr., age 82 of Fairview, TN went home to be with the Lord on Monday, September 7, 2015.

Samuel was born in Nashville, TN on September 12, 1932 to the late Samuel & Louise Warden.

He was preceded in death by 1 brother, Bobby Warden; 1 sister, Judy French; 2 great grandchildren, Austin & Paige Warden.

Survivors include his loving wife of 63 years, June Warden; children, Richard (Wanda "Mickey") Warden, John (Donna) Warden, Julie (James, Jr.) Fischer & Jeffrey (Candida) Warden; 1 brother, Douglas Warden; 5 sisters, Louise Brooks, Joyce Daniels, Patsy Pace, Margaret Jenkins & Mary Jane Small; grandchildren, Stephanie Warden, Timothy Warden, Samuel Warden, Keith Warden, Mandy Deal, Amy Brison, Felicia Warden, Leslie Street, Ashley Purdy, Joshua Warden, Thomas Warden, Bella Patton & Wyatt Warden; 14 great grandchildren and numerous nieces & nephews.

The family will receive friends on Thursday, September 10, 2015 from 12:00 pm - 8:00 pm at Harpeth Hills Funeral Home. A celebration of Samuel's life will be conducted on Friday, September 11, 2015 at 2:00 pm with an hour visitation prior to service at Old Path Baptist Church, Fairview, TN.

In lieu of flowers expressions of sympathy may take the form of donations to Old Path Baptist Church, in loving memory of Samuel B. Warden, Jr.
